Lot 40 Rye is a legendary Canadian rye whisky that is produced in a single copper pot still. At some point during the 2000s, Lot 40 Rye was discontinued, which caused quite a stir among whisky enthusiasts who considered it to be one of the best Canadian whiskies out there. Earthy rye kicks in right away om the nose, backed up by caramel, fig and flamed orange peel. Softly floral palate as it opens, leading into cardamom pod and peppery coriander.
