Red Wine

A classic red from a noble cultivar; this complex wine features rich flavours of fresh berries and a slight nuttiness.

Ripe red berry fruit reminiscent of spicy plum jam complimented by pepper and vanilla. Full rounded mouth with soft tannins. Red berry flavours and spice follow through from the nose.

This beautiful shimmering Ruby Port is produced by Bara de Vilar.

The wine has a radiant deep purple colour. Rich aromas of plum,and black berries envelopes warm spice aromas and a hint of dark chocolate. A voluptuous wine with silky tannins.

A wonderful dry farmed Carignan from Wellington, South Africa. It’s spicy as you would expect, but fruit driven that pairs wonderfully well with a hearty stew.

These cinsault grapes are from right on the border between Paarl and Swartland and come from vineyard born in the early 1990’s.

Deep ruby red colour with violet tones. Intense aroma dominated by fresh red fruits like strawberries and blackberries also showing notes from ageing in oak barrels.

Fragrant sandalwood and fresh red and black fruits, with schisty minerality too. No meatiness or earthiness to this wine, which is plush but beautifully pitched.

Intense Ruby. With distinct Intensity, predominant in red fruits confit and noble notes from aging in high quality barrels. Fruity, smooth, elegant and harmonious.

With a beautiful and intense ruby colour, it has aromas of jam and some spices. It`s elegant and well balanced in the mouth, finishing long and with a very pleasant freshness.

The gold rush of the 1800s led to the discovery of tin in the gravels underlying the Syrah vineyards. The allure of wealth was fleeting as the prospector dug over the soils for the vigneron.
