The beautiful Westerhall Estate lies in the South Eastern corner of Grenada; a vibrant, colourful and laid-back island in the Southern Caribbean.

Grenada, known as the Spice Isle of the Caribbean, is a small island at 344 square km and has a population of 100,000 making it a similar size to the Isle of Wight. Despite their sizes, both islands certainly pack a punch!

The Westerhall Estate has been producing rum along with sugar cane, bananas , nutmeg and limes since the 18th century, it is still possible to see some of the original machinery on the estate today.

The waters of Grenada are naturally infused with spices and flavours of the island such as nutmeg, and during the blending process these are naturally filtered into the rum giving it a distinctively Grenadian spiced-yet-smooth taste. It truly is a product of the island.

The rum was historically shipped to Bristol in charred oak barrels to preserve, and even enhance the flavour while giving it its exquisite golden hue.

A reat rum for cocktails.
