This is a truly superb Guatemalan rum, blended using the solera system, and including rums aged between six and 23 years. Sublime stuff, matured in a mix of bourbon and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. On the nose very sweet and nutty, honey and chocolate. Dark brown sugar, gentle smoke. Pipe tobacco. The palate is very sweet and soft. Dark brown sugar, molasses, rounded, so gentle! Thick, medium length finish with a hint of smoke on the tail.
