Pere Magloire Vsop Pays D`Auge Calvados
Pere Magloire is a Calvados house with a rich history. Established in 1821, by 1900 it was the number one selling Calvados brand in France. Owned by iconic champagne producer Veuve Clicquot from 1968 to 1998, it was then taken over by a family company from Normandy. Their VSOP is deliciously fruity and spends at least 4 years in oak casks. Juicy red fruit, dusted with cinnamon and brown sugar. Fresh orchard blossom, juicy pear, orange and just a hint of cidery farmyard funk.
