Ojo De Dios Mezcal Joven
An artisinal mezcal from Ojo de Dios (which translates at `God’s eye`), produced from Espadin agave. This here is a Joven bottling, so after the agave is roasted for around 10 days and double distilled, it`s bottled up without any ageing, packed full of fresh fruit, grassy agave and fragrant smoke. Cut grass sweetness alongside barbecued pineapple, underripe plum and cigar box, with a creamy hint of vanilla and a dry, peppery finish.
A superb well crafted, artisanal Mezcal great neat or in cocktails. Such as....
