Created to represent whiskey before it was mass produced, Knob Creek embodies the look, feel and taste of pre-prohibition bourbon. This is a long-aged, high-rye bourbon from Jim Beam. Quite spicy and sweet nose. Melted salty butter on granary toast, toasty oak and a touch of rye with caramel sweetness. The palate is peppy and full. Notes of candy floss and nut oil, a touch of spice and dark chocolate, a little spice and charred oak. Long finish with a touch of dryness, nut oils and vanilla spice.
