wine pouring

Nestled within the South East of England are some of the finest award-winning wineries. Our chalky soil and favourable climate create the perfect marriage for viticulture, paired with a delightful mix of tradition and innovation to create some of the very best still and sparkling wines.

To represent this outstanding quality we have recently expanded our portfolio, which now proudly showcases over 50 locally produced wines in an exciting variety of flavour profiles and styles, crafted by nine Kent and East Sussex wineries.

Allow us to introduce you...

Artelium

Artelium wines embody the creative spirit of modern English winemaking. Their quintessentially English still and sparkling wines are expertly crafted using grape varieties grown across the picturesque South Downs.

Through collaboration with talented winemakers and contemporary artists, Artelium pay homage to Sussex’s unique cultural and natural landscapes. This inspired fusion earned them two golds at the renowned Decanter World Wine Awards, with Artelium’s Curators Cuvée 2018 and Blanc de Blancs 2018 scoring a fabulous 95 points, ranking them in the top 2% of all sparkling wines entered worldwide.

Balfour

The esteemed Balfour Winery can be found in the heart of the Kent countryside, with over half of their vineyards located on the beautiful Hush Heath Estate, lovingly maintained by the Balfour-Lynn family for three generations

Each of Balfour’s carefully chosen vineyards are an expression of their unique terroir, creating wines of poise and balance. Their state-of-the-art winery perfectly utilises clonal selection, harvesting each variety separately when optimal ripeness is achieved. This creates the clean, fresh and precise style that Balfour are known for, earning them numerous accolades such as UK Winemaker of the Year.

Westwell Wines

The Westwell estate is located just beneath Pilgrims Way on the North Downs of Kent, a route used for centuries by Pilgrims travelling to Canterbury. They believe that small, simple acts can make a big difference; from supporting and working with local businesses, to combining organic and conventional practices in their winemaking.

The estate boasts six classified soil geologies, and the varieties of grape have been planted with these in mind. Their goal is to make wines with as little intervention as possible, letting the fruit speak for itself. Small-scale production means they can be present at every stage, creating wines known for their fruit-forward, aromatic style.

Woolton Farm

Woolton Farm is renowned for its fruit farming, with a rich history spanning back over 100 years. Today the business has become a reputable drinks producer amongst other successful ventures, priding themselves on their passion for taste and sustainability.

Their 100% single-varietal and single vintage wines reflect the distinctive geography of the vineyard, perfectly showcasing the unique characteristics of each grape variety.
