Myers`S Jamaican Dark Rum

The pre-eminent cocktail dark rum, Myer`s has retained its original bottle shape and tagline, `World Famous, Dark and Mellow` for several decades. A dark rum that works well in cocktails, Myer`s Rum is a Jamaican rum named after Fred L Myers who created that brand in 1879. It is a blend of 9 different rums. On the nose blackstrap molasses, hints of coffee, celery, allspice, hazelnut, and toffee with a subtle layer of ripe pineapple. The palate is buttery upon entry and followed by sweet sugar cane, caramel, tobacco, leather, honey, dark chocolate with elements of raisin and fig. The finish has a decadent dark chocolate character with brown sugar and smokiness with underlying oak notes.
