El Dorado 5 Year Old Rum 5 YO
This 5 year old Gold rum is fruity, rich and intensely buttery, and we have a feeling a premium Daiquiri might just be in order. This stuff is made mainly with spirit made at Uitvlugt and the Savale stills, as well as Enmore`s wooden Coffey still. On the nose is big, powerful spicy aromas of cinnamon, charred oak and burnt sugar. With a delightful whack of woody spice on the palate, softened by toffee/caramel notes. Big flavours here. The big-hearted spiciness just won’t die, fighting for supremacy with the oak on the finish.
A great rum to have with a mixer or in a cocktail such as a `Bahhama Mama`.
20ml El Dorado 5 Year Old Rum
7ml Wray & Nephew Jamaica White Rum
15ml Aluna Coconut Rum
7ml Mr Blacks Coffee Liqueur
15ml Lemon Juice
90ml Eager Pineapple Juice
Garnish with a Pineapple wedge and a mint sprig.
